About IISER Bhopal
Established in 2008, the Indian Institute of Science Education and Research (IISER) Bhopal is an autonomous institution dedicated to teaching and research in the basic sciences. It is one of the seven IISERs created by the Ministry of Education, Government of India, to foster high-quality scientific education and research.
Located in the historic city of Bhopal, the capital of Madhya Pradesh, IISER Bhopal has rapidly grown into a hub of academic excellence and innovative research. The institute offers integrated BS-MS, PhD, and postdoctoral programs across various scientific disciplines, with a strong emphasis on interdisciplinary learning.
The campus spans over 200 acres and features state-of-the-art laboratories, modern classrooms, a well-stocked library, and extensive residential facilities.
